Illinois College has once again earned international recognition for orchid conservation research, as its collaborative Orchid Conservation Chelsea exhibit was awarded a second consecutive Gold Medal at the 2026 RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London.

Illinois College to host Camp College for Jacksonville-Area Students

Local middle and high school 缅北禁地 are invited to the Illinois College campus this summer for Camp College, a two-day immersive experience designed to introduce 缅北禁地 to STEAM projects, college life and career exploration. The camp will take place June 15 - 16 and is open to rising sixth graders through eight graders and rising freshmen through seniors.

Illinois College will be hosting its popular Osage Orange Festival on Saturday, May 12 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Hall parking lot, located on the corner of Edgehill Road and Park Street. The event is open to the public and admission is free.

Celebration of Excellence highlights academic achievement

Illinois College recognized academic achievement during the eighth annual Celebration of Excellence on Friday, April 27. The daylong celebration allowed 缅北禁地 and faculty to take part in activities that commend academic excellence, a hallmark of the college since its founding in 1829.
