Request for Accommodations
Disability Resources, which is housed in the Center for Academic Excellence, is the only office on campus specifically designated for 缅北禁地 to voluntarily request disability related accommodations. Requests for accommodations are processed on an individual, case by case, basis. Students who had an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 plan in high school should identify themselves to Disability Resources as soon as they are accepted into Illinois College, as some accommodations require additional time to secure.
The process for requesting accommodations begins by 缅北禁地 completing a and providing appropriate documentation that verifies their specific qualifying disability/disabilities. Students can find the Medical Provider Form on the Disability Resources Website. Students should have their medical provider either complete this form or answer all questions on the form on their official letter head. Through the interactive interview process, the Coordinator of Disability Resources and the student will identify the need for reasonable accommodations to overcome the academic barriers they may face. Students who have provided appropriate documentation will receive a Course Accessibility Letter to present to their instructor.
Students who did not have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or a 504 plan in high school, and believe they have a disability, are encouraged to contact the Coordinator of Disability Resources to discuss options for determining their eligibility.
